Water based
The journey begins

I got a pack of the cheapest water based clay from the local Chinese shop. The idea was that I try to mush some clay around and see what happens.
Not knowing anything really about the available materials I just wanted the most wallet friendly solution.
The first 1h was "Wohooo, I'm makin' something here!"

After the initial excitement wore off I realized that having super mucky hands while in the creative process and painfully dry skin afterwards are not my type of fun.
Also I was unable to make details or thin sticky outy bits. Naturally all of this information is readily available from many experienced artists but I wanted to experiment so much that I didn't bother doing any research.
As a result of my childish curiosity ( or ignorance ) only 2.5 pieces survived. A little cracked, bits fallen off but still they make me smile a little when I look at them.
So I started to look at other sculpting materials...
